High-Lord Galadir Al'halandilGreatest of the Einheldren leaders, 'High Lord' is the title conferred to the most powerful high elf on the face of Alscium at a given time. This position is currently held by Galadir Al'halandil, Champion of the Estmark. He shall rule as High Lord until his death, or until the Council of Lords deems him unfit to fulfill his obligations, as per tradition. Though his highly advanced age and centuries of war have worn the elf, he is a resolute and deadly defender of his Dominion.

Einheldren GeneralThe main commanders on the battlefield for the Einheldren are their generals, drawn from the aristocratic class, with many focused on their own advancement in the ranks of control and power than the lives of the elves they command. They are, despite their self-interest, some of the most brilliant tacticians in all of Alscium.
|
Drow NecromancerThe most terrifying of all spellcasters due to their power over the very forces of life themselves, the Drow Necromancer is a rare sight on the battlefield, but the one that all foes of the Einheldren fear most. Their command over the dark-arts and the realm of the dead are rivaled only by those witches and wizards of ancient tales.
|
Einheldren CaptainThe main line of control over a company of spearmen or archers is the Captain, usually an elf of lower nobility. They are the backbone of the Einheldren's battlefield control, often trained to slay any that desert from the line of battle.
Einheldren Sorcerer of the Gifted CirclesMayhaps the most terrifying facet of the Einheldren military, the sorcerers and sorceresses of the Gifted Circle are the most accomplished, skilled, and merciless in all of Alscium. They can decimate entire companies with a snap of their fingers, in all manner of horrific different ways. The only drawback is that they are extremely few in number, as many perish in the rigorous, near-suicidal training they must undergo to achieve the level of perfection demanded by military standards.
There are five Circles that make up the elven League of Mages, known as the Gifted Circles. |
Einheldren SpearmenThe central component of the Einheldren army on the battlefield is its spearmen, armed with tower-shields and long spears, they move in slow phalanxes across the battlefield, cutting down any that stand in their way. When not fighting as a unit, or where the spear is not viable, nearly early every member of a spearman company can function as an equally competent swordsman with the blade his or she wears at their hip.
|
Einheldren ArchersThe archers of the Einheldren are some of the finest in all of Alscium, able to place a shaft through an eye-socket at nearly two-hundred yards. In number, they create a devastating and deadly rain of steel that is capable of ending many battles before they can ever truly begin.
Einheldren CavalryThundering white horses, glittering lances, and winged helms are the hallmarks of the High Elven cavalry. The greatest shock troops in all of Alscium, a single charge from an Einheldren battalion of riders is often enough to break event the most fiercely determined foe. Each member of the Einheldren Horse Guard is a noble-born elf, every one descended from a proud, storied lineage.

Knightly Orders of the Einheldren
Some especially skilled knights ascend to one of three orders in the Dominion, becoming a member of...
The White Riders of the High Citadel The White Riders are the elite of the elite: they are the defenders of Lertone, the capital of the Einheldren Dominion. They wear tall helms, carry thick tower shields and masterwork longswords as they charge into the fray, defending the southern coast from orcish attack. Their central headquarters is in the great city of Lertone. The Silverwing Errants The youngest of the orders, the Silverwing Knights are a group of wandering knights that travel the Dominion, lending their aid wherever necessary to the cause of the Einheldren. Their central headquarters is in Talaverne. The Azure Cloaks A mix of cavalrymen and mages, the Azure Cloaks are a deadly sect of mobile spellcasters that attach themselves to the Grand Army of the Einheldren whenever the host marches to war, and whose central headquarters is in the city of Averne. |
